Great American Bracket Races General Rules
-No Ladders
-A New Entry Time Run is defined as a RACER that has NOT been down track the entire event including test-n-tune designated days.
-All Types of Double Entries Are Permitted.
-A Car and/or Driver Can Not Go Down Track More Than Twice Per Round in Same Class. Car/Driver Can Not Be Doubled in Top and Bottom Bulb.
-Double Entries Should Report to Front of Lanes When his/her Class is Called.
-If Entry Breaks During Eliminations, Racer May Switch Cars with Approval from Race Director(s).
-Coin Flip Determines Lanes Choice in All Final Rounds.
-Cars are considered Paired when 5 Pair back from Front of Staging Lines.
-Dials Can NOT be changed when passing the front line of the staging lanes and ALL Electronic Dial Boards MUST be on.
-In the Event of a breakage, 2 Minute restart in effect or 30 seconds after burnout.
-Dial-Ins are FINAL once pre-staged and accepts result of round.
-1st Rd potential bye determined by random draw of tech cards.
-ALL other potential byes determined by previous round best winning reaction time. In the event of a tie closest to dial is tiebreaker.
-Unused Potential Byes carry over.
-Losing Potential Bye and using potential bye NOT equal when determining potential bye.
-In the event of adverse weather conditions or any other unforeseen circumstances, purses can be combined.
-In Top Bulb Door Cars Called to Lanes Separately from Dragsters as indicated on “Additional Rules Sheet Distributed at Event”
-Randon Inspections can be conducted by event officials at any time.
– ANY device that manipulates track position not in 100% control of driver is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
– Any ignition device that acts to auto correct RPM limit and/or down track timing is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
– ALL speed sensors MUST be disconnected during eliminations.
-Throttle Stops Permitted.
-NO GOLD Cards and NO Refunds.
-A racer determined to be “cheating” in ANY form or fashion can be disqualified from event and forfeit all prize money with NO Refund of Entry Fee/ Buybacks.
-Event Promoters have final decision of rule interpretations.
-Additional Rules Sheet Distributed at Each Event.
