Great American Bracket Races is pleased to announce that Capital City Motorsports Park in Montgomery, AL will host the 2nd Annual SDPC Raceshop Great American Guaranteed Million Presented by Chevrolet Performance November 10-14.
Ben Willis owner of Capital City Motorsports Park, formally Montgomery Raceway Park, purchased the historic dragstrip in January this year and has made game changing improvements to the facility to include the following:
-Complete track surface grinding.
-Purchased 2 complete Compulink Timing Systems.
-Purchased New Scoreboards to be installed in the coming months.
-Two Tractors and Track Scrubber.
-Tower Renovations.
Continuous improvements are planned for the short and long terms to transform the facility into a top tier facility.
Registration will re-open on July 8 at 7pm central at www.greatamericanbracketraces.com. The payment process will be as listed below:
July 8-$500
September 1-$500
October 1-$500
Remaining $1,500 Due at Gate Event Weekend.
Additionally racers that registered entered by August 8 will be eligible to WIN the SDPC Raceshop 582 Head Hunter Motor to be drawn event weekend.
Racers that are currently entered in the 2nd Annual Event DO NOT HAVE TO REGISTER AGAIN and their remaining balance of entry fees will be paid at the gate.
Two changes from the original event format will occur for the rescheduled date:
-The original three 40K Events will transform to a Thursday 80K Race before the Main Event and a Sunday 40K Event.
-All racers entered in Event will have the option to have 2nd entries in the Moser 80K and/or 40K events.
The GABR is currently in process of having the event flyer updated as it will be released in the coming weeks.
